Introduction To Poetry - Post Reading Activity

Nowadays, in every school students study poetry. They study poems from differentt eras, about many subjects which were written by different poets. In school, they analyse the poem, they always search for a meaning.I think that poetry should be taught in a more enjoyable way, without being tested on.

In my opinion, poetry could be very interesting but students find it hard to like it because they analyse the poem and are tested on it. I think that we shouldn't analyse the poem, but read it and enjoy the reading.  We can study poetry in a more creative way. For instance, instead of answering questions about it, the students would draw or sculpt parts of the poem.

To conclude, I think that poetry is another creative, interesting kind of art. Students should enjoy poetry and not to be tested on it. If students studied poetry in other ways, I believe they would like it.
